My very first Java project was making an interactable poster representing an essay I had to write about. The topic I chose was League of Legends and its content production shift from the gameplay to skins and the ethics behind their monetization tactics surrounding the game.
For the poster Idea, I have thought of making a desk with a monitor displaying an interactable slots game featuring the skin tiers of League. With this project I have learned the basics of programming and how to arrange code functions in order to develop bespoke features in any digital product.
With the poster production basics done, on the next semester, we've got to learn to work with JavaScript and how to host a website access point by hosting it on our personal devices.
For this one, I have also started to learn using Photoshop, which has allowed me to bring in much more refined material to arrange these posters with. For the functionality part, Instead of making an interactable mini-game I have chosen to make the poster a 2-part feature, where the user has to select the 2nd part by clicking a button.
